Cordis Auckland and Delamore Lodge on Waiheke Island were the only two hotels in New Zealand to receive this Recommended Rating for 2022, testament to their service commitment and luxury, world class offering. Cordis Auckland also received the Recommended Rating in 2020 and 2021, making this year the third time.
Forbes Travel Guide is the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas, and is a world-renowned authority in genuine five-star service.
Their anonymous professional inspectors evaluate based on up to 900 objective standards, with an emphasis on exceptional service to help travellers select the world’s best luxury experiences. The only way hotels receive this recommendation is by earning it through their independent inspection process.
