With the recent FIFA World Cup event now behind us, no doubt we can remember that the spotlight was not only on the teams and the players but also on the coaches:
- Who they chose for the team?
- How did they instil the will to win?
- How did they ensure players were empowered and knew their roles?
- What kept the bench motivated?
- How did they develop resilience for tough times?
- What processes did they have in place to lead through change?
- How did they celebrate strengths and create opportunities to work on weaknesses?
At a guess some of the above sounds like leading a team within your business so with coaching as a focus, it seemed the perfect time to launch my Turning Tables Treasure Chest of Training developed with assistance from the Hospitality Training Trust – www.htt.org.nz.
Turning Tables has been in operation for more than 15 years and in this time, I have trained and coached many team members and leaders in the industry but have also developed plenty of resources.
With the appetite for team training well and truly back in play although the challenge to attend face to face workshops still apparent I hope this “out of the box” coaching kit containing a variety of resources might help fill the gap.
For a one-off fee you will get access to material to help develop your On the Job trainers (both written and through video presentations), training checklists for both FOH and Kitchen teams, an example of a “How we Play” booklet for FOH team members and some practical resources for training in house on one of my favourite topics, wine!!
With attraction, retention and growth such a key focus for our industry as we rebuild our teams once again, I do hope that this box of tips and tricks will help engage and empower your teams to create that winning feeling.
For more information on how to “gain access to the treasure” please contact Marg Main at Turning Tables – 027 245 7233, info@turningtables.co.nz or via the website www.turningtables.co.nz.
The first 10 business to unlock the treasure chest will get a bonus add on – “Handling the Hiccups” – tools and resources to take a potential negative and turn it into a positive.
