It will be an international affair at Taste of Auckland 2016, in partnership with Electrolux with the announcement of festival menus that bring together an array of flavours from all four corners of the world.
The ten Taste restaurants will celebrate their unique flavour and magic with specially designed menus of signature dishes. Highlights include crowd-favourite 18 hour Smoked Brisket Taco (The Culpeper), Coconut crème brûlée (Paris Butter), freshly shucked oysters (Al Brown’s Depot), Miss Clawdy’s much loved Southern Fried Jerk Chicken, Karitane Crayfish (Euro), Artwok’s Rou Jia Mo (braised pork belly), Argentinian Red Shrimp (FISH), crispy Hapuka Dry Red Curry (Tok Tok) and vegetarian Moroccan Stew from Ima Cuisine.
Sergio Maglione from Farina, two-time winner of the ‘Best in Taste’ award, will be serving up his winning dishes – the Valoriani Oven Pork Saltimbocca Bun and charcoaled Lamb Rib dish, Rosticiana d’Agnello.
Lemongrass Productions Director Rob Eliott said the 2016 menus are a ‘proud celebration of the culturally diverse Auckland food scene’.
