NZChefs has partnered with the Restaurant Association to showcase New Zealand culinary talent in September.
“This partnership will see stronger collaboration, creating pathways that strengthen the industry’s future, and provide upskilling and career development opportunities to create a more sustainable future workforce,” says NZChefs Executive Officer Janine Quaid.
Restaurant Association CEO Marisa Bidois agrees, saying “This new partnership aligns well with our kaupapa, providing an opportunity to work together to champion the hospitality industry and to promote hospitality as a career choice.
“The partnership will see NZChefs and the Restaurant Association collaborate on the Hospitality Summit 22- Te Tihi o Manaakitanga 22. This inaugural event will be hosted by Tamaki Makaurau, and will give the hard-hit city a much-needed boost to industry morale.”
Scheduled now for September 18 – 20 at The Trusts Arena in Henderson, the event aims to support the hospitality, accommodation, and tourism sector by offering a multi-activity event to support, network, showcase, promote, learn, inspire, and compete. It was previously scheduled for May 23-24.
The programme includes the Hospitality Championships, Restaurant Association Hospo Hui, NZChefs Pitmasters BBQ Battle, and XPO Connect- Hospitality, Tourism and Accommodation trade exhibition.
