Naumi Hotels, the Singapore-based design hotel group, has reopened its flagship property, Naumi Auckland Airport to guests and travellers.
With domestic and international travel firmly back on the agenda after a challenging two years for the industry, Naumi Auckland Airport has undergone an extensive refurbishment, having transitioned from operating as a Managed Isolation Facility (MIF) throughout the pandemic.
Group Chief Operating Officer, Chris McIntosh, says he is extremely proud of how the team has navigated the transition.
“Our team did an exemplary job as a managed isolation facility, and we were proud that our commitment to service was recognised. We provided hotel level isolation stays and this was so important for our team to show off our award-winning hospitality, no matter the circumstances.
“We’re all excited to get back to doing what we do best – creating unique guest experiences with the very best possible service.”
Over the coming months, Naumi Auckland Airport will unveil a range of ‘industry leading experiences and amenities for guests to enjoy,’ including NZ’s own Antipodes skincare range to be provided complimentary in all room types.
Plans for a new restaurant concept and more guest facilities to complement the swimming pool, are well underway and expected to launch later in 2022.
The hotel’s conferencing facilities have also had a refresh. Catering to executive meetings, through to workshops and small cocktail events, the considered spaces are designed to make bespoke events simple and a one-stop shop, especially with the on-site accommodation options.
During the refurbishment of the hotel items including irons, hairdryers and in room essentials were donated to the Tonga relief fund.
Naumi Auckland Airport is a 4.5-star hotel, 193-room hotel, which has been described by Vogue Australia as a space that “will break your preconceived notions about airport hotels”. As with all Naumi properties, Naumi Auckland Airport has been designed to exude a contemporary vibe, with bold accents of colour and details at every turn.
Located in the airport precinct, south of the city centre and just minutes from the international and domestic airports, the hotel offers a stylish stopover for leisure and business travellers. With 193 rooms, and suites offering private patios and balconies, an outdoor swimming pool, a perfectly manicured English garden, restaurant and bar, fully equipped gym and over 500sqm of conference and meeting space, the property offers all the signature Naumi comforts with the idiosyncratic design and personalised, authentic service the brand is known for.
For those with time to explore, the hotel is near New Zealand’s famous winery, Villa Maria Wine Estate, as well as the historic Otuatua Stonefields Reserve and the Strawberry Farm.
