Ronald Liem, DestinAsian publisher presents Christina Liew, Director of Sales South East Asia, Langham Hotel Group with the Best Hotel in New Zealand Award for The Langham Auckland at the DestinAsian Readers’ Choice Awards 2017 in Singapore.
The Langham, Auckland has again been honoured as the country’s leading luxury hotel, taking the top spot in DestinAsian Magazine’s 2017 Reader’s Choice Award for the Best Hotel in New Zealand.
The magazine’s readers’ poll was conducted between August and October 2016, with readers casting their votes across 31 different categories designed to reflect the very best of the luxury travel industry, including hotels and resorts, spas, airlines and destinations.
Winning attributes highlighted by voters across the categories included comments on the friendliness of staff and service, convenient location, modern facilities, quality of dining options, comfort, and excellence in design.
The Best Hotel in New Zealand was one of four categories making its debut at the 2017 Awards.
Managing Director Franz Mascarenhas is delighted the luxury hotel has been recognised as New Zealand’s Best Hotel for the second time in a row, having recently won the title at the prestigious HM Awards in Sydney, in September 2016.
