Six cafés have been named People’s Choice Regional Award Winners, as part of the 2018 Meadow Fresh New Zealand Café of the Year awards.
Determined by customer votes, the People’s Choice Regional Awards recognise the most popular café in six regions across New Zealand and also recognises the most popular café’s in local areas throughout New Zealand with a People’s Choice Local Winner certificate (see list over page). With over 30,000 public votes received this year, it’s been an exciting competition throughout New Zealand.
The 2018 People’s Choice Regional Award winners across New Zealand are;
Auckland region | Nick’s Café, 30 Constable Road, Waiuku
Upper North Island region | Epiphany Cafe, Chartwell Shopping Centre, Hamilton
Lower North Island region | Salt & Pepper Café, 4 Buller Road, Levin
Wellington region | Sweet Vanilla Kitchen, 49 Pretoria Street, Lower Hutt
Upper South Island region | Portershed Specialty Cafe, 322 Lincoln Road, Christchurch
Lower South Island region | The Batch, 173 Spey Street, Invercargill
The national winner of the National People’s Choice Award will be announced at an event held in Auckland, February next year.
