With seafood at the heart of its offering, FISH Restaurant has released an indulgent winter menu showcasing the local ocean fare in a truly unique way. The new menu features a twist on traditional flavours, showcasing local delicacies and a nod to favourites from afar, complete with flavours from Executive Chef Wallace Mua’s Pacific heritage.
Perched on the end of Princes Wharf, FISH Restaurant boasts uninterrupted views of the Waitemata Harbour making it the perfect everyday escape for Aucklanders to enjoy a warming winter meal with incredibly fresh and unique seafood.
“As an island nation, we are blessed with a wide range of nutritious and tasty seafood harvested in our pristine waters. Our new menu brings out the best of our local catch while treating diners to a unique twist on favourite dishes,” says Executive Chef Wallace Mua.
Not-to–be-missed dishes are the Big Glory Bay Salmon with swede, nori granola, ginger pickled daikon and aillade. To start, try the Paua Gratin with taro, vermicelli and fresh ginger, or opt for the tiger prawns served with agrumes, leeks, capers and chive pistou. Another stand out dish is Chef Mua’s twist on the New England favourite Lobster Roll, complete with white kimchi, lemon, herbs, pancetta chips and smoked hollandaise.
