Events and Entertainment Lead
SkyCity operates one of the NZ’s largest in-house marketing teams. We have teams working across our Studio, Social Media, Communications, Events, Sponsorship, Loyalty and General Marketing.

We have a huge range of clients which include restaurants, bars, three Hotels, Casino, Sky Tower and more and they all need to communicate over a diverse range of media channels.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Brand Strategy and Customer Experience, this is an exciting role to create, deliver and manage the SkyCity Events and Entertainment programme to the highest calibre. We have internal and external, small and large events, examples of these are Christmas, New Years Eve and Chinese New Year along with multiple others throughout the year to encourage visitation to the business.
- Create and manage a calendar of events and entertainment
- Execute events and entertainment that deliver high levels of stakeholder engagement and customer experience
- Manage suppliers including contract negotiations
- Lead a small team of marketing professionals
Mōu | About You
- 5+ years in the Events industry
- High energy, creative, detail focused
- Large scale events experience
- Project Management experience
- Ability to work on multiple pieces of work
- Strong stakeholder relationship management
- Leadership experience
