Originality has always been part of Brancott Estate’s DNA, and their quirky new look packaging shows off this spirit.
When you’re from a land on the other side of the world, you can’t help but see things differently. And when you see things differently, great things can happen. This notion rings true for Brancott Estate. At a time when convention said Marlborough was only good for sheep farming, a little bit of flipped Kiwi thinking led Brancott Estate to plant the first vineyard in what is now one of New Zealand’s most celebrated wine regions. They were also the originators of the world-famous Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
It’s this notion of Kiwi ingenuity and thinking differently that led to Brancott Estate’s new aesthetic. A distinctively fun and fresh new positioning, the packaging design is set to inspire wine lovers to ‘Taste life on the flip side’.
Eric Thomson, Global Marketing Director for Pernod Ricard Winemakers, says “this new look and positioning is a real milestone for Brancott Estate, who despite taking winemaking very seriously, has always been non-conventional in spirit.”
Unmissable on the shelves in a modern shade of blue, the new look is original and light-hearted. The packaging pays homage to the sheep (who to this day continue to play an integral role on the Brancott Estate vineyards) whilst also portraying the brand’s spirit of originality by literally flipping the beloved national icon upside down.
Available now, the new look can be found across Brancott Estate’s entire range of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Merlot at an RRP of NZD $11.99.
