As part of the Volvo Ocean Race 2015 Auckland stopover, Heineken announced its presence on the ground as an official port sponsor with the Heineken Yacht Club.
Situated in the heart of the race action, the Heineken Yacht Club offers visitors the chance to enjoy an ice cold Heineken in an environment that celebrates Auckland’s proud yachting heritage, whilst providing unparalleled water and race village views.
Heineken, whom holds a long-standing relationship with sailing in globally, is excited to launch the creative and interactive space for the duration of the Volvo Ocean Yacht Race through to March 15th.
The Heineken Yacht Club is open from Thursday to Saturday 9am-10:30pm, and Sunday to Wednesday 10am-9pm at Te Wero Island in Auckland’s viaduct, alongside delicious food offerings by The Grill.
The vibrant Race Village will be the place to be for all the Volvo Ocean Race action, offering a huge range of entertainment suitable for every age – and it’s all free.
