Wild Bean Cafe has revolutionised the cuppa in the fuel stop industry in the last few years and is now outperforming established big name coffee chains.
In a recent Canstar Blue customer satisfaction survey Wild Bean Cafe took the top award, Most
Satisfied Customers & Coffee Shop Chains 2014, when evaluated against nine others including The Coffee Club, Starbucks and Columbus Coffee.
Wild Bean Cafe gained five stars in seven of the eight categories, measured by public opinion,
including menu options, taste of coffee, service and value for money, while the competitors assessed received mostly three and four stars.
Scot Graham, National Foodservice Manager for Wild Bean Cafe, says they are thrilled with this top billing and the recognition is testament to the staff across all 82 Wild Bean Cafes nationwide.
“Our aim is to consistently provide quality cafe style food, exceptional barista made coffee and great service. The Canstar Blue award is proof we are getting it right, as the results come from public opinion not a judging panel.”
Graham emphasises that a major focus for Wild Bean Cafe is to provide an environment that is not only inviting to customers but dispels some of the myths around food choices when out and about.
“We all tend to remember road trips fondly but not so much stopping at some service stations along the way for food. Those days are well and truly gone, we have revolutionised our industry, so much so we are now outperforming the established coffee chains.”
Wild Bean Cafe has recently expanded its menu with more options being added to the breakfast
selection with particular attention to ensure a range of healthy food options.
“We now have over 100 different breakfast deals that can be created from our menu options, there is certainly something to suit everyone’s tastes.”
The Canstar Blue survey asked consumers to rate ten major New Zealand coffee shop chains
including, Esquires Coffee House, Muffin Break and Mojo Coffee on a range of categories.
“Our hard working team of cafe staff and highly skilled baristas across the country are integral to achieving outstanding results like this. We have come a long way since kiwi gas stop days and we will continue to be innovative and delight our coffee connoisseurs and motorists alike,” concludes Graham.
