Impossible Foods, the U.S.-based company making meat from plants, is bringing more plant-based options to menus throughout New Zealand.
Debuting Impossible™ Chicken Nuggets Made From Plants in New Zealand restaurants for the first time, Chicken-lovers will be able to enjoy the plant-based nuggets at RE Burger stores from mid-August, with more restaurant partners to follow.
To celebrate the launch, RE Burger and Impossible Foods are set to give away 10,000 plant-based chicken nuggets to hungry customers across the North Island on Tuesday, 15 August.

Impossible Chicken Nuggets were met with instant fanfare when they first debuted in the U.S. in 2021. In a blind taste test among U.S. consumers, Impossible’s plant-based nuggets were preferred nearly 3-to-1 over a leading animal chicken nugget served in restaurants.

*RE Burger stores open at 11am and stocks will be available on a first come first serve basis at participating stores. When stocks run out they will be available to purchase as part of a six-pack with fries for $8.90. Participating RE Burger stores are located in Auckland, Wellington, Tauranga and Palmerston North.
